あってもなくてもいいようなコメントより、こういう方が役に立つこともあるよね。
役に立たないコメントといえば、その昔、/* ○○だぴょ～ん */とか殴り書きしておいたのが、正式なコードに組み込まれてしまったことがあった。
削除したかったのだが、バージョン管理されているので、うかつに削除すると、かえってそんなコメントが入っていたことが発覚してしまうので、消すに消せなくなっちゃったことがあるんだよね。
まあ、あんなコード誰も見ないしと思っていたら、4年後くらいに流用する機会があって、後輩に「なんすかこりゃ？」とか言われてしまった。

概略としてはつかめてるんですが、イマイチ ピンとこないのは、

最近、過去のバックアップを発掘したので中を見て
いました。そこには入社して間もないころ書いた文字列
変換用のスクリプトをがあり、そのコメントに一言
「/*天才かもしれん*/」と。
他人に見られなくてよかった（笑）。
